Contracts Canceled – Car Bomb Tuesday Must Go On

I’m giddy.

I’m downright excited.

CONTRACTS CLASS IS CANCELED TOMORROW AND NO OTHER PROF HAS TAKEN THE TIME SLOT!!!

Holy crap. First class of the year to actually get canceled and give me a completely open day. Nevermind that I am spending that time working on other classes… the point here is that I have an afternoon to do whatever. (which undoubtedly will be reviewing my already workable outlines.)

This is also a big step for Car Bomb Tuesday. We will be coming off of what was a whirlwind of a week last week and being that it is the day after Halloween, we may see our numbers dip in the amount of people that show up. Call me nuts, but I see the usual group plus 15 tomorrow night at our usual pub in our usual seats.

Ahhhh…. cannot wait.

I may have chipped my tooth last week, but I am sure to be back in action tomorrow night. I am wearing my Lymphoma and Leukemia benefit bow tie tomorrow. Next Tuesday is election day and I am going patriotic red, white, and blue. Is it sad or cool that I am planning bow ties and car bombs two weeks out? I’m going with the latter.

Torts is supposed to release our distribution chart and also explain the midterm answers tomorrow as well. I am still waiting to see if my grade will be good enough for an (A) or not. Wish me luck!

Halloween Party, Torts Midterm, Update

Tonight is the school Halloween party at a local bar. I am going as my Civ Pro professor.He doesn’t have facial hair. I, in turn, had to shave today and decided to rock a mustache only as part of my afternoon attire. Hilarity.

We got our torts midterm grades back and I am very happy with my score. High score was 88/100 and I received an 84/100. We will see once the distribution list is published whether that is good enough for an A or a B+.

I chipped my tooth at Car Bomb Tuesday. I will have to write about this later.

I got tons of mail and packages this week. IT HAS BEEN AN AMAZINGLY AWESOME WEEK.

I’ll write more when I can!

I never post photos of myself due to my love of anonymity. I have accidentally revealed too much about myself a few times, but here I do this on purpose. This may be bad news… but people are using the search term “Law School Car Bomb Tuesday” and are finding my blawg.

This may be good or bad. Depending on how you look at it I am a pub star or a law school drunkie.

Car Bomb Tuesdays

In the south there is very little that people do worse than drink.

In the north, especially near the great drinking state of Wisconsin, there are considerable more drinkers who are more seasoned in their consumption.

One of the things I have found is that few of the people I have met have had an “Irish Car Bomb.” I found this while discussing the drinking habits of different groups of people, regionally speaking. NJ is one of my friends who is of the drinking persuasion and he came up with the idea that every Tuesday we shall gather at the Irish Pub and indoctrinate all that we can into the ways of the Irish Car Bomb.

What is an Irish Car Bomb? Well the recipie is not hard to follow at all, an many of my readers will know what these are. I will give you the recipie anyway.

“3/4 pint Guinness
1/2 shot Bailey’s Irish Cream
1/2 shot Jameson’s Irish Whiskey
Add the Bailey’s and Jameson to a shot glass, layering the Bailey’s on the bottom. Pour the Guinness into a pint glass or beer mug 3/4 of the way full and let settle. Drop the shot glass into the Guinness and chug. If you don’t drink it fast enough it will curdle and increasingly taste worse.” – http://www.drinksmixer.com/drink7774.html
While this drink is awfully tasty… it is awfully intoxicating as well.
Last night, we went out only after I had finished all of my homework. I had a great time. However, it wasn’t the hangover I had this morning that didn’t allow me to go to class. It was a cold.
I finally got the sickness that has been going around. I have chugged orange juice and had a steady dosage of Nyquil all day to help me get better. Unless things turn for the worse while I sleep, I’ll be in class tomorrow.
